If you need to clear thick molding around your window or any other obstruction that might prevent your slats from turning you need extension brackets. Comes with removable 1 9/16″ clip which can be removed and used alone if you decide to mount inside a window frame. For this to fit your headrail, top should be slightly wider than 1 1/2″. 1 and 9/16″ is the intended size. You will get 36 brackets.

Has a hexagon shaped gear hole in the center (this means that the metal rod that is located inside of your blind's headrail must be hexagon shaped in order to fit inside of the gear.)
